November 16, It's only fitting then that Nissan and Lucasfilm, the studio behind the latest addition to the Star Wars movie empire, join forces for the first-ever full-size production vehicle to include Star Wars - branded elements, the "Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition. In addition to the wide range of custom features and equipment, each vehicle also comes with an exclusive numbered, full-size replica collectible Death Trooper helmet. Inside, special features include logo carpeted floor mats, " Star Wars " logo illuminated kickplates, "Rebel Alliance" and "Galactic Empire" logos in cupholder inserts and interior accent lighting. It is offered in just two colors Magnetic Black and Glacier White and one interior color, charcoal. And more than just a big kid toy, the Limited Edition is every inch the real thing a Rogue for every adventure you can imagine.

As with most valued franchises, companies have had no problem jumping in on the bandwagon. You only need to take a look at the Nissan Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition that was unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show to see the lengths by which this partnership has grown in the past few years. Coming from a Star Wars nut, I had a little bit of trouble getting my nerves out of the way to write this. Seems straightforward enough, right? On the outside, the package comes with plenty of cosmetic changes, not the least of which are two specific body colors for the Rogue: Magnetic Black and Glacier White. Outside of the body finishes, the package also includes signature LED headlights, a new black grille and lower finisher, black rear door finisher, roof rails, and door handles. Some signature Star Wars motifs are also included, most notably the logo decals of the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire on the D-pillar, Rogue One badging on the front doors, and a Star Wars logo clear rear bumper protector.

Despite the fact that there are no cars in the Star Wars universe, Nissan went ahead and built a Rogue as part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The changes are purely aesthetic. The exterior features LED headlights, a black grille and lower trim piece, black rear door trim, black roof rails and D-pillar badges for both the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire. There's also "Rogue One" branding on the front doors. It's available in just two colors -- black and white. Inside, there are unique carpeted floor mats, illuminated doorsills with the Star Wars logo and interior accent lighting.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Limited Edition is more than a badge

It made its debut in October for the model year. It is currently Nissan's best-selling vehicle in the United States. The first generation Rogue remained in production for the model years as the Rogue Select.

The subject who is truly loyal to the Chief Magistrate will neither advise nor submit to arbitrary measures. On the other side was the logo of the Galactic Empire, and on the rear bumper, a discreet Star Wars logo. It just seemed silly. Most of the standard chrome is replaced with attractive black paint, on the door handles, grille and roof rails, and there are those stickers on the C-pillars and LED headlights. Perhaps this is the greatest failing of the Star Wars Rogue.
