WALKING IN CIRCLES - ST. ARMAND'S SARASOTA! (#19)for for how does
The service was great, prompt and friendly. The food we ordered was delicious Our party of four had Lobster roll, stuffed shrimp, parmesan crusted cod and pasta primavera. Nothing disappointing. However, the noise level was such that we could not have any conversation. What a huge disappointment, considering we were very happy with everything else. Would not go back unless we hear that the acoustics have been fixed.
Stopped in for lunch today. I enjoyed a Connecticut Lobster Roll and homemade chips. We also had a calamari appetizer. Danielle was our server and did an outstanding job of making sure our needs were fulfilled. We will be back!!!! Lobster rolls rival that what is offered at Portland Maine.
Near By. At Speaks Clam Bar we celebrate the end of prohibition every day with classic and craft cocktails. We are a speakeasy turned Italian Clam Bar serving the freshest seafood, housemade pasta, sauces and craft cocktails. Our inspiration comes from the clam bars back east. We love our neighbors and welcome destination visitors as well. We look forward to sharing our love for food, drink and comraderie with you.
This was an excellent restaurant and pasta house. Seriously great food. Great food, nice place. Good food and great service. We've eaten at this spot twice and their LWR location once and all three times had a great meal. The menu is chock full of choices with an Italian theme to it.
A fun restaurant concept, blending speakeasies with New York-style Italian clam bars, is arriving at two locations in the area. Armands Circle in November. First time eating there and really pleasantly surprised. Went for lunch and had a salad with salmon. Husband had salmon BLT. Both great. Good service, too. Will definitely go back. Lunch prices very reasonable for St.
Years in the making, Speaks Clam Bar opened on St. That put a halt to the tourist foot traffic that every shop and restaurant on the Circle needs. August and September are slow months for local restaurants anyway; the smell of dead fish wafting from the beaches made a bad situation worse. Levey looks on the bright side. She says her staff spent the slow weeks familiarizing themselves with their equipment and the menu, so that once red tide lifted and season started, they would be ready.
